PILLARS TO SUCCESS

Economic Development
Address economic disparities that currently exist in African American and other marginalized communities. We will partner with other entities throughout the state that provide entrepreneurship training, community capacity-building, and workforce development programs.

Leadership Development
The Fellowship Program is a leadership development program that will focus on providing participants a comprehensive understanding to how public policy, economic development, education, and public service work together to create thriving, secure communities.

Education
Collaborate with Higher Education institutions and scholars across the country in order to produce research in the areas of public policy, economic development, community capacity-building, education, and leadership development and publish an annual journal.
Public Policy
Work with communities to establish mutually agreeable priorities and provide elected and appointed officials the training and data necessary to make decisions that are the most beneficial for all Texans, especially the African American community.
